A DGI Investor
Born in 1965, I have since been a reasonably prudent saver of funds. Primarily at first through, as is customary in my native Denmark, pension funds with their limited selection of approved funds / ETFs.
Since approximately 2000 I have managed my own pension accounts as well as our private savings (“Free savings”). By 2010 I had a reasonably-sized portfolio in the “free savings” accounts.
At the same time, educated in International business economics, Financeial planning and Export marketing management, I needed a goal to drive my private-interest studies into the realms of Technology, Macro economics, (geo-)Politics and all their related fields of study.
The driving motivation for my interest in all these fields (actually: my excuse for spending quite a bit of time reading about them and finding contrasting views etc) turned out to be “how do we position our overall portfolio for the next 2 – 5 – 10 – 25 years ?”. This motivation has worked remarkably well since then.
Since 2010 I have focused almost all of my efforts and studies on the basic style of investing, known as DGI – Dividend Growth Investing.
I hope that you will enjoy this never-ending Work-In-Progress.
